HOW TO GET HEALTHIER & LONGER HAIR #1


I’m receiving a lot of messages because of my hair asking, asking how I get them so long. This is really hard to explain because I’ve always had them since a was a baby. No joke – my mom had to cut my hair when I was just about 9 months old BUT there are still important things I do for my hair. Oh what’s important to know, is that I’ve never dyed my hair before. I’m thankful for keeping my hair color because right the moment you start to dye your hair, you lose the natural shine of it and it will need some extra attention to keep it healthy, which I would fail so hard. I just don’t invest a lot if it comes to my hair 😀

Avoid Heat

I know, I know… That is something you’ve heard the most if it comes to hair. But it’s is just something really important. Avoid using heat on your hair. The heat is actually able to make your hair dry and frizzy because it takes the natural moisture from it. By overusing it, you can burn it which is not that hard. Try to use heat only if it’s necessary and always use a hair protectant before

 

Cold Water Is Key

I always thought it’s not good to wash with cold hair because I would get sick easily but it’s actually really good for your hair. Always try to use medium to cold water to wash it. Hot water actually has the same effect as using heat for styling.

 

Healthy Eating

Health on the inside reflects on your hair too. If you want to have good and healthy hair, eating right is a must. Certain nutrients like vitamins, iron and proteins are essential for your hair growth and health. If you are unable to obtain enough from your diet, then you need to consider supplements. A good diet for hair will also boost your confidence to stay healthy and smart.
